BBS Ride – North Branch Trail

I have not gone on a bike ride like this in….at least a year; I’ve done a few indoor bike rides but that’s a little different. A few of us meet up at the North Branch Trail Head to ride 50km. I really wanted to find the time and space to also get some drone footage…. but this was probably not the ride for it – we were running a bit late and once we kicked off, we maintained a pretty good pace (slowing down would sort of throw things off).

While we were waiting for everyone to arrive, I did manage to test out some new ND filters and re-test the tracker option on the drone:

Like I mentioned, we maintained a pretty good pace on most on the ride, though I started to get a little tired towards the end and started to slowly fall behind and maintain a slightly slower pace.

We stopped at a coffee shop along the way, Glenview Grind, which was ok. The matcha latte wasn’t great and the latte seemed to be a little milky – as if from a machine instead of the manually pressed espresso.

Overall, the ride was pretty great! Awesome weather, a chance to break out the bike, and meet some cool new people!
